  • 1089 - Monsieur Lecoq Cheltenham 17 Nov 2019 15:00 £100.00 Monsieur Lecoq 8-1 general 1pt each way

Greatwood Hurdle - Progressive second-season novice who bounced back from below-par effort at Cheltenham Festival (race may have come too soon after Imperial Cup second) to win Welsh Champion Hurdle on last month's reappearance. Entitled to come on a fair bit for that run given his physique and further improvement on the cards despite 7lb higher mark, especially with ground turning in his favour. Please note normal ante-post rules apply and that Gary Nutting's detailed analysis is due to appear in his Ante-Post Focus column on from today (14th November).

  • 1089 - Belami Des Pictons Cheltenham 16 Nov 2019 14:25 £220.00 Belami Des Pictons 16-1* BetVictor, Boylesports (use 1st 5+place firms) 1pt each way

Very progressive as a novice and showed he retained plenty of ability when last seen in February (first run for over a year), jumping with customary aplomb until blowing up/breaking blood vessel over 3m at Sandown. Drop back to this trip looks a better call for first run of season and King George entry suggests astute trainer still believes he's better than a handicapper. * Best odds guaranteed

  • 1089 - Kalashnikov Cheltenham 16 Nov 2019 14:25 -£200.00 Kalashnikov 12-1 general (14-1 BlackType, Unibet) 1pt each way

BetVictor Gold Cup - Top-class, second season novice who is only a pound higher than his best hurdles figure achieved after just a handful of runs. Boasts strong course form, proven in big-field handicap scenario (won Betfair Hurdle two seasons ago) and likely there's plenty more to come from him over fences. Please note normal ante-post rules apply and that Gary Nutting's detailed analysis is due to appear in his Ante-Post Focus column on from today (4th November).

  • 1089 - Ramses De Teillee Cheltenham 16 Nov 2019 13:50 -£200.00 Ramses De Teillee 11-4* general 2pts

Persuasive record on soft/heavy ground (includes close second to handicap snip in Welsh National) and remains open to further progress as a race-fit 7yo (won over hurdles last month) now only 4lb higher than when runner-up in top Haydock handicap run on quicker surface. * Best odds guaranteed

  • 1089 - Burrows Park Cheltenham 26 Oct 2019 15:45 -£200.00 Burrows Park 13-2* general 1pt each way

Very progressive last season, including on soft ground, and has the physical scope to improve again now returning in less competitive field than when last seen in hot 21-runner handicap at Aintree on Grand National day. * Best odds guaranteed

  • 1089 - Rather Be Cheltenham 17 Apr 2019 15:15 -£400.00 Rather Be 7-1* Coral, Ladbrokes (use 1st 4 place firms) 2pts each way

Top stable does well with class horses reverting to hurdles from fences and this one looks well-treated 5lb below chase mark and only 4lb higher than when winning hot handicap in this sphere at Aintree two years ago. * Best odds guaranteed

  • 1089 - Bun Doran Cheltenham 15 Mar 2019 16:50 £300.00 Bun Doran 20-1* William Hill, 18-1* Betfred/Totesport (use 1st 5 place firms) 1pt each way

Already had smart course form and looked improved performer when hacking up on seasonal reappearance here in November. Race possibly came too soon when a bit below that form four weeks later, but record fresh is good and he's been rested since with this event specifically in mind. * Best odds guaranteed

  • 1089 - Al Boum Photo Cheltenham 15 Mar 2019 15:30 £1,920.00 Al Boum Photo 16-1* general (use 1st 4 place firms) 1pt each way

Jumping has improved since he fell late in the RSA Chase a year ago (would have finished third) and made impressive return to action at Tramore in January, easily conceding weight to some very smart rivals. Pedigree offers plenty of encouragement that he will improve again for stiffest stamina test he's faced to date. * Best odds guaranteed

  • 1089 - Lisp Cheltenham 15 Mar 2019 14:10 £400.00 Lisp 25-1* general (use 1st 5+ place firms) 1pt each way

Strong traveller who has been knocking on door in big handicaps this season and easily forgiven below-par effort at Ascot last time after stumbling and getting baulked at vital stage. No surprise if he bounces back here, with return to left-handed track another plus. * Best odds guaranteed

  • 1089 - Touch Kick Cheltenham 14 Mar 2019 17:30 -£200.00 Touch Kick 16-1* general (use 1st 5 place firms) 1pt each way

In fine form this season and jumping seems to get more efficient with each run. Back up in grade here after winning narrowly at Taunton last time, but that was his first try at three miles and he stayed on well in soft ground offering encouragement for further improvement up in trip again. * Best odds guaranteed

  • 1089 - Azzerti Cheltenham 14 Mar 2019 16:10 -£400.00 Azzerti 16-1* general (use 1st 5 place firms) 2pts each way

Useful hurdler who has made encouraging switch to fences and was just moving into contention under hold-up ride when falling through no fault of his own at the festival trials meeting here (hampered and effectively knocked over three out). Had a confidence booster round Ludlow last time and looks an improving novice at the right end of the weights. * Best odds guaranteed

  • 1089 - First Assignment Cheltenham 14 Mar 2019 14:10 -£200.00 First Assignment 12-1* general (use 1st 5+ place firms) 1pt each way

Progressive second-season novice who has won on both previous visits here and remains open to improvement granted likely stronger pace than he got at Warwick last time, though finishing third there qualified him for this without raising his handicap mark. * Best odds guaranteed
